Registration open for HCC summer camps

Hopkinsville Community College is hosting multiple summer camps beginning June 11 as part of their Kids In College Can Soar program.

According to a news release, nearly 200 students have already registered for the KICCS camps and the college will put on five, week long courses which features 18 class options for students going into first through sixth grades. The camps meet throughout the summer and meets from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Students may register for any number of weeks. The fee is $79 per week.

Director of Program Facilitation Lanita Wilson says the camps are extremely popular and “We can already sense the excitement about this year’s classes and instructors. From robots to fairy tales, from problem solving to artistic creations, this summer is going to be packed with fun and engaging, interactive experiences.” KICCS is the college’s longest-running youth camp and has enrolled more than 7,200 students since its launch in 1991.
