Clarksville Police have identified the man killed in a single-vehicle wreck Saturday morning.
A news release says 37-year old Craig Bobby Knight of Clarksville was the driver of the car that was northbound at a high rate of speed about 12:45 a.m. Saturday when it lost traction and struck a utility pole.
The pole snapped in three places and Knight was pronounced dead at the scene. A 31-year old female passenger was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in stable condition.
