Woman arrested for meth, pill trafficking

A Hopkinsville woman already sought on a warrant is facing new drug charges after an investigation Tuesday night on North Main Street.

City police officers went to 715 North Main to locate 37-year old Tanisha Dhaliwal and she soon arrived in a vehicle, according to an arrest citation.

A trailer in her back yard was determined to have been reported stolen and there were several pills in plain view in her vehicle. A search was conducted of the car and police say they found a large amount of methamphetamine and marijuana.

She was served with a warrant for probation violation and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and receiving stolen property.
