HPD charges Clarksville man with theft

The Hopkinsville Police Department served a Clarksville man with an arrest warrant for theft charges in relation to an incident in March.

According to the police report, 53-year old Chester Campbell of Clarksville allegedly pawned a stolen ring and necklace, which were valued at $1,000 in total. He sold them for $425 to Glory Guns and Pawn in Hopkinsville.

Other items of the victim’s jewelry are also missing. Campbell was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property and theft by deception.
