CCSO participating in Click It or Ticket campaign

The Christian County Sheriff’s Department is among multiple agencies from across Kentucky participating in the Click It or Ticket campaign.

The campaign will focus on enforcing seat-belt laws in Christian County and raising awareness of the importance of seat-belt and child restraint usage, according to a news release.

Captain Chris Miller is quoted as saying, “We see way too many accidents where injured parties weren’t wearing seat-belts. Statistically, seat belts save lives.”

Deputies, along with their regular duties, will be out in full force looking for seat-belt and child restraint infractions, with increased efforts through June 3rd, which includes Memorial Day Weekend. No warnings will be issued during this time, according to the release.

Elsewhere, the Greenville Police Department has also sent notification that they are participating in Click It or Ticket.
