Two women were arrested on methamphetamine charges early Thursday morning following a traffic stop in Hopkinsville.

Officer Sara Damron attempted to stop 34-year old Amber Hull of Hopkinsville for not dimming her headlights about 4:30 a.m. at Canton Street and Wooldridge Road and an arrest citation says Hull quickly turned into a driveway and turned her lights off.

Police say Hull got out of the car and appeared to be under the influence of a substance. A search of the car allegedly revealed methamphetamine in a pouch, a baggie of marijuana, two syringes and a meth pipe.

Hull and her passenger, 23-year old Marilyn Brivette of Madison, Tennessee, were both arrested for meth, marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession. Hull was additionally charged DUI.
