An investigation on Hadden Mill Road in Todd County Tuesday afternoon led to the arrest of a man on assault and methamphetamine charges.
Todd County Sheriff’s Sgt. Patrick Turner found the female victim running out of the home screaming for help when he arrived and 33-year old David McClure was inside angry and sweating profusely, according to the arrest citation.
McClure allegedly admitted to having a pipe containing methamphetamine in his pocket and the victim reported that he had slung her down, twister her arm and struck her on the head. Police say she had marks on both arms and a knot on her head to back up her account.
McClure was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault ,possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.
