MLB Roundup-Reds win streak stopped, Braves win at Cubs

The San Francisco Giants edged the Cincinnati Reds 10-7. Tucker Barnhart, Scott Schebler and Adam Duvall homered for the Reds, who saw their season-long winning streak halted at six games. The teams play again this evening in San Francisco with air time at 8:45 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP.

Elsewhere in the National League: Jose Bautista’s three-run homer in the fifth inning gave the Atlanta Braves a 6-4 lead and they hung on for a 6-5 win over the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. It was a makeup game from a previous rainout. The teams begin a series tonight in Atlanta.

Interleague: After an off-day, the St. Louis Cardinals resume their road trip tonight with the first of two games against the Minnesota Twins at Target Field. The Cards lost two games at home to the Twins last week.
