Report: Man slammed girlfriend against car in Guthrie

A man was arrested in Guthrie Sunday morning after he allegedly slammed his girlfriend against a car.

An arrest citation for 32-year old Kevin Pollard says the incident happened about 12:45 a.m. on Howell Street.

Pollard’s girlfriend arrived home, an argument began between the two and that’s when Pollard allegedly grabbed the victim and slammed her face into the car, breaking her tooth.

Guthrie Police Officer John Webb located Pollard a couple hours later and while he admitted pushed the victim, he said he didn’t mean to hurt her.

Pollard was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault, domestic violence.
