It’s National Drinking Water Week and the first ever local Water Festival is coming up Saturday at Jeffers Bend Environmental Center.
Derek Watson is the president of Hopkinsville Water Environment Authority and says the festival is a way to celebrate clean drinking water and to enjoy the park.
He says there will be several activities, that are all free, and most are geared toward youth.
Again, the Water Festival is from 1 until 5 at Jeffers Bend.
