Head-on collision injures local woman

A head-on collision Wednesday morning sent a Hopkinsville woman to the hospital.

The collision report from Hopkinsville Public Safety Officer Cassidy Woods says 21-year old Kalyn Williams of Hopkinsville was headed north and attempted to turn left into a parking lot.

She said she didn’t see a southbound pickup operated by 37-year old Jeremiah Johnson of Hopkinsville. Johnson swerved, but was unable to avoid a collision.

Williams was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of head and neck pain. Johnson did not complain of any injuries.
