Portions of KY 109 to close for railroad work

CSX Railroad intends to close a section of Bradshaw Road in Christian County starting Thursday, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

KY 109 will be closed to through traffic at mile point 10 between U.S. 41 and the U.S. 68 Bypass at the southeast edge of Hopkinsville to allow for rail work to be done to a crossing. The rail crossing at this site is expected to close at approximately 8:00 a.m. Thursday. CSX estimates the roadway at this site is likely to remain closed for about 7 days.

There will be no marked detour.  Local access will be maintained on each side of the closure.  Motorists may self-detour via the US 68-Bypass.
