The Pennyrile Community Band will host its inaugural performance next week.
It will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church and features special-guest, clarinetist Scott Wright, who is a professor of clarinet at the University of Kentucky.
The band of local musicians—adults and teens—will perform the works of several well-known artists.
The event will be free to attend.
