There were no reports of any major damage associated with severe thunderstorms that moved through the southern Pennyrile region Sunday afternoon.
Portions of Christian and Todd counties were under severe thunderstorm warnings for over an hour and while much of the area saw some hail and strong winds, the only damage report noted by local emergency managers was a tree blown across Elmo Road in Christian County.
The warnings caught many by surprise, as the threat of severe weather was not mentioned in forecasts.
