Todd Central senior accepted into U of L dentistry program

Todd County Central High School senior Alexandra Brooks is headed to the University of Louisville in the fall and has already been accepted into the dentistry program.

The University of Louisville School of Dentistry offers early admission opportunities to exceptional high school seniors who demonstrate a commitment to pursue a lifelong career in dentistry, according to the Todd County School System.

Of the approximately 4,000 applicants for the University of Louisville Dental School, only 300 are granted interviews. Only 12 high school seniors are accepted each year into the dentistry program.

Brooks recently told Todd Fiscal Court of her plans and says she’s excited for the opportunity.

Todd Central will host its commencement on Friday, May 18th at 6 p.m. in the high school gymnasium.
