It will be a little different from years past, but Elkton Bike Night returns for 2018 Thursday night on the Historic Public Square.
Local artist Clay Bilyeu will perform one Thursday night a month and there will be other activities on the other weeks, according to Todd County Welcome Center Director Charlotte Myers.
The Todd County Community Alliance has sponsored Bike Night in the past, but recently disbanded to make way for a chamber of commerce in the process of organizing. Myers says anonymous members of the community are helping pay for the music this year.
Motorcycle enthusiasts from across the region come to Bike Night every Thursday during the warm weather months.
The crowd usually starts gathering on the square at about 6 p.m. and bike nights will continue every week through October 4th.
