A shots fired call Sunday morning on Moore’s Court led to a vehicle pursuit and arrest.
Hopkinsville Police Sgt. Ed Eastman was responding to the call and saw a car traveling at a high rate of speed on Younglove Street and it was driven by 26-year old Jamarvis Allen of Hopkinsville.
Allen did not stop for Sgt. Eastman and continued toward Moore’s Court before stopping and fleeing on foot toward Lewis Street.
He was soon caught by Sgt. Eastman and a search of his car allegedly revealed a loaded handgun under his seat.
Allen was arrested for fleeing or evading police on foot and by vehicle, carrying a concealed deadly weapon and driving with a suspended license.
