Crofton woman arrested on meth charges

A Crofton woman was arrested Monday in Hopkins County by Kentucky State Police on drug and other charges following a traffic stop.

According to a news release, Trooper Jacob Stephens pulled over a vehicle driven by 47-year old Christina Hopper of Crofton on Friday in Hopkins County for a traffic violation. Open alcohol beverages were allegedly visible in the vehicle and a search of the vehicle reportedly revealed meth.

Hopper was arrested and charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia, possession of an open alcohol container in a motor vehicle and not having the rear license plate illuminated.
