WKU, Murray State and Tennessee conclude spring practice Saturday

Western Kentucky concludes spring football practice tomorrow with the Red-White game at 2 pm in Houchens-LT Smith Stadium. It’s been a spring of transition for the Hilltoppers under second-year head coach Mike Sanford.

After making the program’s fourth consecutive bowl trip, the Hilltoppers are searching for a new starter at quarterback with the departure of two-year starter Mike White, as well as consistency from its offensive line, depth at wide receiver, and scattered new starters throughout a youthful defense.

Murray State will conclude spring practice tomorrow with an inter squad scrimmage game. It will take place at Stewart Stadium from 10:30 am-12:30 pm.

The University of Tennessee is gearing up for its annual Orange and White spring football game tomorrow at Neyland Stadium. Unlike years past, this spring game will feature an exhibition format with standard scoring and rules.

Fans will be able to attend the scrimmage for free and get a chance to see the Volunteers for the first time under new head coach Jeremy Pruitt.
