Rotary Auction entering final night needing big push

It’s going to take a big final night for the 68th WHOP Rotary Radio Auction to reach the $320,000 goal and you can be a part of making it happen.

Through five nights the auction has brought in a total of $225,396—about $647 off last year’s pace. Hour and goat club revenue is where this auction is almost $4,000 behind and cash donations are the backbone of the event.

One area not behind is 551 items have sold for about $60,538, just over $3,800 ahead of the 2017 pace.

Auction Chair Kiley Killebrew says they’ve been auctioning off items quickly at good value through the week, meaning they can still use additional items any area businesses or individuals are willing to donate.

The auction resumes at 6 tonight on Lite Rock 98.7 and online at lite987whop.com. It can also be watched on Charter Spectrum Channel 12 and on the Hopkinsville Rotary Club’s website.
