Carlos Martinez dazzled over seven innings of scoreless ball and the St. Louis Cardinals held off the Cincinnati Reds 3-2. Billy Hamilton hit a solo-shot in the eighth and Adam Duvall added one in the ninth, but the Reds’ rally fell short. Homer Bailey dropped to 0-and-3 with the tough-luck loss. Cincy was swept in the four-game set and is on an eight-game slide overall.

The Chicago Cubs and Atlanta Braves were postponed on Sunday. The game will be made up on May 14th at Wrigley Field, the day before the teams begin a three-game series in Atlanta.
