Madisonville woman arrested on meth, gun charges

An alleged methamphetamine trafficker was arrested Monday evening in Madisonville.

The Madisonville-Hopkins County VICE/Narcotics Unit arrested 26-year old Jerica Anderson of Jamestown Loop at her home following an investigation. A news release says detectives used a confidential informant to purchase a quarter-ounce of meth from Anderson.

A search warrant was later executed at her home, turning up meth and drug paraphernalia. A loaded handgun that had been reported stolen in Princeton was also located near the meth.

Anderson was charged with trafficking in meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and receiving a stolen handgun.
