A woman with a blood alcohol content over three times the legal limit was arrested following a hit and run accident late Wednesday night.
Officers were notified of a hit and run on Liberty Street and located 25-year old Paige Hunt of Hopkinsville standing at her vehicle with the door open. An arrest citation says she smelled of alcohol, had slurred speech and admitted to driving the car.
She registered a blood alcohol content of .246 and was arrested for DUI and leaving the scene of an accident.
