There were a few severe thunderstorm warnings in the southern Pennyrile region Tuesday night, but no reports of tornadoes, injuries or widespread damage.

Roof damage was reported at Black Hawk Bakery on East Ninth Street in Hopkinsville during a severe thunderstorm with gusty winds a few minutes after 8 p.m.

In Todd County, a barn with a tractor inside burned in the 300 block of Cliff Hill Road near Sharon Grove and Emergency Management Director Daniel Smith said lightning was likely the cause.

The worst of the weather was to our north and west. The National Weather Service is sending survey teams to Livingston, Graves and Hickman counties to determine if damage there was from straight-line winds or a tornado.
