Flags will be at half-staff at state office buildings in Kentucky in honor of Hopkinsville Police Officer Phillip Meacham.
Governor Matt Bevin has issued the order to be effective from sunrise Wednesday through sunset on Thursday. In a emailed statement Governor Bevin says, “We are grateful for the ‘Thin Blue Line,’ and urge Kentuckians to join us in honoring the life of Officer Meacham.”
