Man arrested in Guthrie on drug charges

A Tennessee man was arrested on drug charges Friday in Guthrie.

Todd County Sheriff’s Deputy Kevin Saunders stopped a vehicle on State Street for an equipment violation and determined 30-year old Michael Bryant of Adams, Tennessee to be under the influence.

Further investigation led to methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia being located on Bryant’s person.

Bryant was arrested and charged with DUI, possession of meth, trafficking in marijuana, tampering with evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license.

Guthrie Police Sgt. Dean Blumel assisted in the investigation.
