Cadiz man arrested on cocaine, wanton endangerment charges

Hopkinsville Police arrested a Cadiz man Sunday morning for cocaine and other related charges.

An officer stopped 29-year old Ezekiel Conaway of Cadiz for making an improper turn from 15th onto Canton Street, according to an arrest citation, which says Conway was also not wearing his seat belt.

Conaway presented Officer Alexander Cortez an identification card that had a white powder on it that tested positive for cocaine. Conaway didn’t tell Officer Cortez there was cocaine on the card, causing the officer to become exposed to the substance.

The report says Conaway became loud and disruptive and did not follow commands to calm down.

He was arrested for possession of cocaine, first-degree wanton endangerment, disorderly conduct, improper turn signal, failure to wear a seat belt and license to be in possession.
