Three hurt in Bypass crash

A wreck involving three vehicles on the Martin Luther King Bypass Monday morning injured three people.

It happened just before 6 a.m. at the Commerce Court intersection, according to the collision report, which says 19-year old Tristan Cansler of Crofton was attempting to turn left from the Bypass onto Commerce and drove into the path of an eastbound pickup operated by 53-year old Gail Jesse of Hopkinsville.

Their vehicles collided and the impact sent Cansler’s car head-on into a stopped van on Commerce driven by 54-year old Roxie Wilson of Hopkinsville.

Jesse went by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for pain to her face and right side, Wilson was taken by private vehicle to Jennie Stuart for facial injuries and Cansler was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Everyone involved was wearing a seat belt.
