A two-vehicle accident Monday morning on Skyline Drive injured one of the drivers.
It happened about 7:35 a.m., according to the Hopkinsville Police report, which says 42-year old Gena McGowan-Jn Baptiste of Hopkinsville was eastbound approaching the railroad crossing when she attempted to merge into center turn lane.
A pickup driven by 35-year old Lamonte Blaine of Hopkinsville was already in the center turn lane about to turn in at Hopkinsville Elevator and his vehicle was struck.
McGowna-Jn Baptiste was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for arm pain, while everyone else involved declined a trip to the hospital.
