First round play in the Women’s NCAA Tournament began Friday with Louisville winning its first round game in the Lexington Regional 74-42 over Boise State. The top seeded Cardinals will face Marquette at the KFC Yum Center Sunday.
Also in the Lexington regional at Knoxville, Western Kentucky was routed by Oregon State 82-58. The Beavers advance to Sunday’s second round to face Tennessee as the Lady Vols crushed Liberty 100-60.
