The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating a case of first degree forgery of a check to United Southern Bank.
According to the report, officials with United Southern Bank reported that a suspect deposited a check using a mobile banking app in the amount of $895, knowing that the check was a fraud.
A suspect’s name is redacted on the police report and the investigation continues.
