Travelers to Louisville, Lexington, Frankfort or anywhere else that the Western Kentucky Parkway can take you will no longer be without the convenience of a stop to refuel and grab some food at the Beaver Dam Travel Center.
It reopened this week as a Huck’s convenience store and Division Manager Mike Sebree tells WHOP News that they’ve been busy.
The facility closed in January of last year when the lease ran out with the previous occupant and Sebree says travelers have expressed their happiness that the center is back open.
He says the center offers a large enough food variety for anyone to find something to eat and they’re open 24 hours a day.
A formal grand opening is set for Friday, March 16, when Sebree says Governor Matt Bevin is expected to attend.
