An autopsy on the woman found deceased in a room at Kings Court Motel on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Hopkinsville Wednesday morning has determined the death resulted from homicide.
Hopkinsville Police Lt. Kyle Spurlin identified the victim as 42-year old Tami Dragoo of Crofton.
There are currently no suspects or persons of interest and Lt. Spurlin urges anyone with information on the incident to call Crime Stoppers at 270-887-TIPS.
He says Dragoo did not rent the motel room her body was located inside and detectives are working to determine how she got there.
Christian County Deputy Coroner Mike Stokes says the Medical Examiner’s Office has not yet released a cause of death. Lt. Spurlin says the victim was not shot or stabbed.
Tami Dragoo was the sister of Christian County Sheriff’s Sgt. James Dragoo.
