Democrat Jeff Taylor has been endorsed by the Kentucky Educators Political Action Committee as he attempts to win the state House seat he once held back in this year’s election.
A letter from the committee is quoted in a news release as saying, “The recommendation is offered as a result of Taylor’s previous and current efforts on behalf of the thousands of children and school employees in Kentucky’s Public Schools.”
Taylor says, “With all that is going on with the state pensions, proposed educational cuts and school shootings, I am more honored than ever that KEPCA granted me this recommendation.”
Taylor will face Republican incumbent District 8 state Representative Walker Thomas in November.
