Jonathan Stark led Murray State with 22 points and Terrell Miller, Jr. had a doubles night of 18 points and 18 rebounds as the Racers defeated Jacksonville State 70-63 in a semifinal game at the OVC Tournament in Evansville. Former Christian County standout Tyrik Edwards played four minutes for Jacksonville State and had two points. Murray State improved to 25-5 while Jacksonville State’s season ended at 21-12.
In the second semifinal, Belmont routed Austin Peay 94-79. Bowling Green native Terry Taylor led the Governors with 25 points and nine rebounds while Averyl Ugba added 23 as the Governors conclude the season 18-14.
Murray State faces Belmont for the OVC championship this evening.
