The Christian County Public School System will be hosting public forums in March to discuss safety in schools and to receive feedback.
The forums will be led by school officials, the Hopkinsville Police Department, Christian County Sheriff’s Department and the Kentucky Center for School Safety. The Center recently conducted surveys at randomly chosen schools in the district and while the schools were deemed safe, there were things that needed improvement.
The forums will take place on March 12 at Crofton Elementary School from 5:30 to 7 p.m., March 14 at Christian County Middle School from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. and March 16 at Pembroke Elementary from 5:30 until 7 p.m.
