KSP: Allen Co. man killed grandparents, uncle

An arrest has been made in connection with a triple murder Monday in Allen County.

Kentucky State Police was contacted a little before 10:30 a.m. after a meter reader found the bodies of 74-year old Jimmy Siddens, 72-year old Helen Siddens and 41-year old Jimmy Siddens II, all of Scottsville, at 1139 Ray Pardue Road.

All three had sustained gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigation by KSP led to the suspect being identified as 28-year old Edward Siddens of Scottsville and he was arrested about 6:20 p.m. following a pursuit in Sedgwick County, Colorado.

Siddens will be extradited and charged with three counts of murder, violation of an emergency protective order and theft of a vehicle. Police say the victims were his grandparents and uncle.
