Woman hurt in Country Club Lane wreck

A woman was hurt in a two-vehicle crash on Country Club Lane Thursday afternoon.

According to the Hopkinsville police report, a vehicle driven by 25-year old Heather Wilson of Cadiz was travelling west on Country Club lane towards stopped traffic. Wilson told officers her brakes locked up and she hit a car driven by 42-year old Meiko Hardin of Hopkinsville, which was stopped.

Hardin tried to swerve out of the way of Wilson’s oncoming vehicle, but was unable to avoid the collision. A passenger of Hardin’s, 18-year old Jada Gary of Hopkinsville, was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.  Wilson complained of chest pain, but refused EMS.
