About 15 pounds of marijuana was seized during an investigation Friday near Trenton.
The Todd County Sheriff’s Department and Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force conducted an investigation that led police to a residence on Chester Stahl Road. A news release says the marijuana and a gun were seized, with 66-year old Leobardo Lopez Hernandez of Trenton and 30-year old Angel Saldana Lopez of Mexico arrested.
They are both charged with firearm-enhanced trafficking in marijuana.
The 19th Judicial Drug Task Force of Montgomery County assisted in the investigation.
