Three hurt when U-Haul hits RR overpass

Three people were injured Wednesday night when a U-Haul box truck hit the railroad overpass on Woodmill Road.

A Hopkinsville Police report says 26-year old Shaquoia Ewing of Hopkinsville was westbound on Woodmill and thought the overpass was high enough for her to make it underneath, but the box of her truck hit the structure.

Ewing and her two passengers, 26-year old Demario Braxton of Hopkinsville and a two-year old boy, all went to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for minor injuries.

There was a scuff mark left on the overpass, but there did not appear to be structural damage.
