Fisher to return to Predators

Former Nashville Predators captain Mike Fisher says he has some “unfinished business” and announced today he’s coming out of retirement to play for the Predators for the remainder of the season.

The 37-year-old Fisher announced his retirement last August after the Predators lost to the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Stanley Cup final, but got the itch to make a return around Christmas. Fisher has scored 276 goals and has 309 assists in 1,088 career NHL games. He played his final six-plus season with the Predators, scoring 109 goals in 413 games.
