Man accused of robbing same pharmacy three times

A man accused of robbing the same Rite Aid pharmacy on Madison Street in Clarksville three times in three months was arrested Friday.

The incidents happened in October, November and on Wednesday of this week and Clarksville Police say they caught a break after the most recent robbery when a witness saw the suspect enter a green Dodge Ram pickup with a silver gas cap.

The perpetrator passed a note demanding drugs from the pharmacist on all three occasions and investigation determined 44-year old Thomas Holmes of Clarksville to be the suspect.

He was arrested after being interviewed Friday afternoon and is lodged in the Montgomery County Jail on a $100,000 bond, charged with aggravated robbery. A news release says additional charges are pending.
