Hopkinsville High’s boys hoopsters win, Lady Tigers lose

For the second straight night, the Hopkinsville Tigers were victorious on the hardwood, defeating Graves County 70-62. Steven Cager led the Tigers with 29 points, Jalen Johnson added 21 for Hopkinsville now 8-10 on the season. Graves County fell to 15-6.

Other scores: Todd Central drubbed Webster County 60-37, Trigg County edged Caldwell County 51-48, Barren County defeated Logan County 67-54, Hopkins Central topped Dawson Springs 85-66, Owensboro eased by Madisonville 70-63, Daviess County cruised by Henderson County 76-55.

Warren Central over South Warren 69-56, Warren East defeated Russellville 67-59, Bowling Green eased by Muhlenberg County 55-50, Greenwood got by Allen County Scottsville 58-54, McCracken County routed Carlisle County 76-39 and Calloway County over Murray 556-48.

Girls: Henderson County routed Hopkinsville 68-43, Caldwell County topped Trigg County 49-26, Hopkins Central cruised by Dawson Springs 61-32, Barren County defeated Logan County 65-48, Warren East dumped Russellville 54-40, South Warren slammed Warren Central 77-36, Owensboro eased by Madisonville 61-54, Allen County topped Greenwood 59-40.
