After 47 years in education, including the last 14 as head of school at University Heights Academy, Pam Nunn will call it a career at the end of this school year.

Nunn says she’s leaving UHA during a period of continued growth and she just knew in her heart it was the right time to retire.

Growing enrollment has necessitated construction of a new building on campus and Nunn says it’s an exciting time to be a Blazer.

Nunn says a family atmosphere that allows her to know the name of every student is one of her favorite aspects of UHA and she’s enjoyed the last 14 years.

She says she’ll remain connected to the school, as she has a grandson in the eighth grade at UHA.
