Hopkinsville City Councilmember Phillip Brooks has filed his papers to run for reelection in ward 12, according to an update from the Christian County Clerk’s Office.
The Democrat has served on city council from 1992 until 2006 and then served again from 2009 to now. He currently serves as City Council Presiding Officer and is a member of the Long Range Planning and Coordination Committee and the Hopkinsville-Christian County Industrial Development Authority.
He is currently unopposed. **
