HS Basketball: The predicted winter weather for Friday is causing some games to be moved. Todd Central’s boy-girl 13th district doubleheader with Logan County scheduled for Friday night in Elkton will be played tomorrow night.

Also, the Lyon County-Livingston Central boy-girl doubleheader scheduled for Friday night at Lyon County will be played tomorrow night. In addition, the Bowling Green-Warren Central boy-girl doubleheader at Bowling Green scheduled for Friday night has been moved up to tomorrow night at 7:30.

College Basketball: Several Top 25 teams are in action this evening.

College Football: Alabama running back Damien Harris has announced his plans to return for his senior season and forego the 2018 NFL Draft, according to AL.com. The former Madison Southern standout rushed for 1,000 yards and 11 TDs as a junior and has won two national titles while at Alabama.

Meanwhile, Clemson receiver Deon Cain is joining the growing list of Tigers’ underclassmen declaring for the NFL draft. The school announced Cain’s decision today. He joins receiver Ray-Ray McCloud, safety Van Smith and offensive lineman Taylor Hearn as Tigers giving up their remaining eligibility to turn pro.

Free-agent catcher Rene Rivera and the Los Angeles Angels have agreed to a $2.8 million, one-year contract. Rivera has played for six teams over nine seasons in a major league career that began with Seattle. The 34-year-old split last season between the
New York Mets and Chicago Cubs, batting .252 with 10 homers and 35 RBIs in 74 games.

NFL: Reports from Nashville indicate Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker did not practice today and will miss Saturday’s Divisional Playoff game at the New England Patriots. Titans coach Mike Mularkey also indicated at a news conference following practice running back DeMarco Murray will not play Saturday, with Derrick Henry getting the start.
